Mr. Robertson is dead wrong. As a lifetime Dodgers fan, I think Vin Scully ought to be declared a national treasure. His coverage of the game fits seamlessly with background information you may or not find interesting, but there is never a dull moment when he is casting, even if the Dodgers were to play an interleague game and A-Rod takes 17 minutes to get to the batter's box.
