Eric Thames, he of the .671 OPS at Norfolk in 2013, is basically putting up a post steroided up Barry Bonds like season in the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO).

Thames has put up a .376/.489/.801/1.289 slash line in 444 PAs this year after slashing .343/.422/.688/1.111 in 514 PAs last year. Even more amazing may be the fact that he's stolen 29 bases in 35 attempts. Thames stole just 23 bases in 34 attempts in five years of minor league ball in the states.

Thames owns a .250/.296/.431/.727 slash line in 684 major league PAs but hasn't appeared in the majors since 2012 with Seattle.

If he wanted to come back to the states I'd probably offer him a minor league deal with a big league invitation next year. At 29 next year, he could be a low cost DH option.
