Everybody is chalking up tomorrow's game as a loss. But I've never seen Ubaldo have a bad game on 20 days rest.

Maybe the distractions of having a kid a few days ago will help. He'll be tired, and preoccupied with fatherhood, and won't over think things on the mound.

He is in a defensive slump (wasn't there a thread about the existence of such things?). Anyway, he might be emerging from his offensive slump....

His foot still hurts from getting hit and he can't go to his right to try to block pitches at all.
