Jim Callis weighs in on O’s farm system

Callis mentions that he’s heard that Mountcastle looks better at 3B than SS.    He says Hays is somewhere in the top 50, and Sisco and probably Mountcastle in top 100.

I think 15-20 is still pretty good improvement considering some felt this farm system was dead last.

I never felt it was as bad as some of the "experts" felt it was.

Nor, did I think it was as good as it should be.

Pretty sure he is.     I don’t think Callis was necessarily limiting Hays to top 50, but I don’t think he’s as enthusiastic as, say, John Manuel was.

Nah, it sounded like a very objective view, and he seems to be pulling for Lowther - or at least seems very intrigued by him.  A guy I'm looking to shoot way up next year is Adam Hall - el otro Hall.
