Nats batters have been helping him out these past two at bats.  Robles swung at some pitches way out of the zone, Escobar struck out on a slider in the dirt.

That could have been much worse. Another couple runs to pad the lead would be good with this bullpen.

That was a bit nervewracking. Still a beautiful night at the ballpark.

Bases loaded, one out and facing the top of a good lineup: could have been worse than 2 runs, especiallly with Turner's and Soto's power.

No.  No one on the farm that is going to be promoted by Elias has 1/10 the talent of Scott

A return to Scott's 2020 form would be fantastic. That must be one of the team's goals: harnessing Scott's talent and getting more consistency out of him. We shall see.

Problem is, he needs the FB. You can’t throw 3,4,5 consecutive of the same damn pitch to ML hitters without them making you pay. And the thing is, his FB is pretty good. It doesn’t help that Severino sucks at sequencing amongst his many defensive shortcomings.
