This seems like a game where we have given up on.  Hyde will let Sulzer finish it up and the O's are just going through the motion at the plate to just get the game over with.

Adley needs to jump up and down on his heels to make that feel better

With Voth starting tomorrow, probably not to be counted on for more than three or four innings, I can see trying not to use any more pitchers than absolutely necessary tonight.

Sulser will likely be optioned in favor of a fresh arm before tomorrow's game.

Well, we can still root for Adley to get on to keep his reaching base twice in a game streak going.

Reds swept Tampa this month and won 2 of 3 from the Yankees.   

8-5 vs the AL East (unless we have an incredible comeback in the 9th).

31-56 vs everyone else.

That's my thought as well. It seems a tag would have completed the DP.  Unless as you say, the force play is off due to the batter passing the runner of ahead of him. Just seems odd in a force play situation the lead runner ends up back on the base where he started.
