So far the O’s have had 13 players debut in the majors this year.  That’s a five-way tie for third-most in MLB:

The major league average this year is 9.5 debuts per team.  

For the O’s, their debut players have contributed 8.6 rWAR, with Adley (4.7), Felix (3.0) and Gunnar (0.8) doing most of the damage and the rest just holding serve.   That 8.6 rWAR total is 2nd in MLB, to Seattle’s 8.9.   The Mariners have gotten big contributions from Julio Rodriguez (5.7 rWAR), George Kirby (1.9) and Penn Murfee (1.2).   

For the record, our other debuts were: Vespi, Bradish, Reyes, Vavra, Gillaspie, Sedlock, Diaz, Bannon, Hall and Stowers.

Overall it seems to me this was a very strong debut class in MLB.

This looks like it is going to be a historic, or at least generational, debut class for the Orioles this season.
