On that list, 8 of the 21 winners have payrolls outside the top 10. The question is, once you get to 15 or so, how much do those marginal dollars actually help, especially once you consider luxury tax etc.

I agree, as low as 22 would be quite rare, but between Kimbrel, Burnes, and arbitration guys, that was a pretty big leap from '22 and the rebuild years, and that was still largely under Angelos rather than Rubenstein. I wonder what might have happened had Peter died a few months earlier...

I’ll just never understand the mentality that there always has to be someone to blame. Sometimes shit just happens and it’s not anyone’s fault. 

I’ve asked this before and no one has an answer. What team has more SP depth than the Os had at the start of the season?  There are only so many roster spots to go around. At some point there is a limit to how many pitchers you can reasonably stash in various places. 
 

This is not Elias’ fault. Joe anyone can look at the job this guy has done since 2019 and still bash him is just beyond my comprehension. Have some perspective FFS.
