96 pitches for Matusz thru 6. I don't think I bring him out to face the top of the lineup for a 4th time in the 7th.

I agree. No way to I bring him out for the seventh. He is done, so I expect Trembley to bring him out and watch his ERA go up.

I actually think this season might be worse than 1988. Hear me out on this one. I actually had expectations for the team this year. I'm not saying 85 win expectations but I had a feeling this could be the season where we'd start to see some serious improvement. Young core, good hitters, good pitchers and a better feeling about the franchise but all of that is lost now.

I have absolutely no hope anymore. I'm sorry, but I don't see us getting to the point I thought we'd be any time soon. We don't have anyone on this team that can hit 30 HR's and drive in 100 runs. Until we do, our hitting will always be this anemic.

Please talk me off the ledge here. Someone?
