In the signings sticky on top of the page, it has links to all the picks. While this is still a VERY small sample size, here are the stats for the picks so far. (Min. 100 PA's for hitters and 30 IP for pitchers.)

Now granted, Mummey is the only top 10 pick... but those numbers are flat out TERRIBLE on the hitting side. So far you would have to be pleased with the results from the four SP who were all picked in Rds. 20+. Now I know that with the exception of Roth, they are all a little old for the their league. But you have to be happy with those results from that draft spot considering the 3 'older' guys were not overslots (to my knowledge.)

For a system that is lacking hitting already, this can't be the start the Orioles were hoping for.

9 HR's in a combined 1,587 PA's... really? REALLY?

The thing is, most of the guys who signed early enough to make your list, are the guys who are likely to be organizational fillers. They signed quick for a reason! Yes, there are exceptions to that line of thinking, but still. Your point still stands though - the results are not great...

Agreed. Mummey is probably the only hitter who is not 'organizational filler'. Well, at least Conor Narron is off to a GREAT start. 0-3 with 3 K's in RK ball.

Weird that Petitt isn't in Aberdeen as a 23 year-old who dominated college and Bluefield. I would think they would want to make sure he has a good shot at being on a full-season team at 24, otherwise it doesn't make much sense drafting him.

Agree 100%. I don't understand his 'non-promotion' at all.

Exactly, these guys really don't mean much at all to us as far as the strength of our system.
