  1. Obviously not a great angle, but he was using allof his pitches from what I could tell. Fastball command wasn't great but he was able to throw all his pitches for strikes. He should be moved up.
  2. I like it, nice job. Who knows? I'm fed up with a lot of things and although screwwing me out of credentials has not made me happy with the organization, I'm salty because I see guys on this roster that belong in the big leagues. I'm salty because good prospects keep going out with injuries. I'm a little salty because Elias is fielding an absolutely awful Delmarva team because he doesn't draft high school players and his DR players are pretty awful so far (at least the ones that have made it up to Delmarva outside Chace and De Los Santos). Sure there are bright spots in teh org, but watching this team totally suck for the 4th year in a row because Elias did nothing of value to imprive it or even have the right depth (he has no left-handed veteran AAA outfielders that he could have brought up when Stewart failed.) It's just depressing so guys like Odor, Owings, Gutierrez on this team and even Nevin is not an answer to anything. But here I am.. Watching once again.. lol

Really good defensive SS and not bad looking swing. I like what I've seen from him and now that Prieto is hurt, he should be playing SS everyday for awhile. Definitely a guy to watch.
  4. Watching Creed play a couple games and I can tell you, this young man was not very successful in losing that "baby fat". He reminds me of John Kruk body type wise. He's really going to have to watch his body to make sure he doesn't get out of control as he ages.
  5. This really stinks because I was about to say how impressed I've been with Prieto. He's got much more pop than I was led to believe, has good at bats, has good hands in the field and enough arm to fill in at SS if needed but better at 2B. We just can't have nice things apparently.

  7. Ok, add one of them to the worse bench.
  8. He needs to find a consistent offspeed pitch that can miss bats. Nice to see that arm strength back, but his command is just not there yet.
  9. I'm not sure why Gutierrez is on the roster if they felt a need to pull up Nevin to play 3B. This is such a weird roster with a bench if Gutierrez, Bembroom, Owings and McKenna. That might possibly be the worse hitting bench in all of baseball. I can;t imagine a worse one.
  10. No, it's just you always go with the absolute rosiest version of what could happen and this time you are right. If rosey means that the organiation is the most ultra conservative rehabbing team on the face of the earth, then you got it! We all said it was plausible, but knowing how this organiation treats it's prospects like interchanegeble Fabrege eggs, we probably should have just assumed that they would think he needs an entire day off after ctaching 5 inngs and then DHing. lol I mean, the kid is 24 years old. Gotta save those legs for when he's catching for the Yankees at 32 years old.

I watched it a few more times and I'm not sure that ball has come back down yet! That thing may have still been going up when i crossed the fence. the outfielder took a few steps and a job over to make his pitche feel better, but that was an absolute no-doubter. The catcher had to console the pitcher after that one. I believe I may have heard him say, "Anything hit that far should have a stewardess on it!" lol
  12. Rutschman is in the lineup tonight batting 2nd and catching. Appears it's just Blood/Elias' ultra conservative approach to rehabbing a healthy 24-year old young man who has played baseball all his life.
  13. Who cares? We're talking about him with the Orioles as GM. My comments are facts, not opinions. Until his players do something to help the Orioles be a contending major league franchise the jury is out on Elias. It's not a knock on Elias, it just pure facts.
  14. The numbers say not much more than last year. Mullins has always been a middle-away hitter for the most part and can get jammed inside, but it's not a significant issue inside yet.
  15. Well let's go to the data so we can forget about our biased opinions for a second: Year EV Barrel% Sweetspot% xBA xSLG xWOBA hard hit% K% BB% 2019 84.2 1.9% 18.9% .171 .255 .231 17% 18.9% 5.4% 2022 89.2 12.3% 28.1% .257 .489 .363 44% 20% 8.2% So no, no he does not look in anyway shape or form like the player he was in 2019.
  16. Not really. The ban started on June 21st and in his 15 games after the ban he pitched to a 3.45 ERA dur to a couple bad outings but held batters to a .161/.266/.161/.426 over 15.1 IP. The slide started on Aug 4th until the 29th when he pitched to a 27.00 ERA over 10 games covering just 5.2 IP. He allowed 11 hits and 15 walks and batter put up a .407/.619/.815/1.434 slash line. It appears he basically came up with "Steve Blass" disease where he just lost the ability to throws strikes. I was very surprised when they offered him a contract because I didn't see him a guy you protect on the 40-man and he wasn't worth an arbitration raise. But hey, I don't have fancy computer program or degree from Yale so my opinion doesn't count!
  17. Pretty sure he could hurt himself picking up a baseball. It's unfortunate for the young man that his body won't allow him to pitch.
  18. Could be because I can put nothing past this ultra conservative organization when it comes to rehabbing and allowing players to play in games. It just sounds like the most ridiculous rehab plan ever, but we are talking the Orioles here. He could have very easily played 1B last night and then caught tonight with Hall on the mound. The kid needs to play to get ready.
