  1. Rougned Odor is making quite a bit of noise…. As the heat and humidity set in, balls tend to leave Camden Yards in a hurry.
  2. More Melanie Newman is always music to my ears!
  3. They might have found a nugget with Lyles. I like the fact that he sent Hyde back to the dugout in the 7th. It could have been disastrous, but I appreciate the bulldog mentality.
  4. Gregg Olson got an AB back in 1993 when the DH had to play a position. He struck out.

  6. Thus far this season our catching platoon has totaled 11 hits. Which one stays? I’m not of the mindset that Adley needs a mentor, for whatever that’s worth. How would you guys determine which catcher starts once or twice per week? Catcher ERA? The better “framer?” Both of the current guys have shown decent catch-and-throw metrics. Which one is more valuable moving forward? Thanks…
  7. Lyles also broke the 100-pitch barrier…. So they are being stretched out.
  8. Any locals know an estimated start time?
  9. Is that click-bait web site trustworthy? Was it reported elsewhere that the O’s offered anything close to that for Correa? Seems unlikely, given, well, everything… I wish CG amazing success if he can get it together. But a contract offer that big for Correa seems unlikely for so many reasons… Did I miss something? Thanks!
  10. Tommy Pham? Sergio Romo? Anything left in the tank for those guys? Then there are the Spring Training opt-outs they can jump on around the 3rd of April...
  11. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2022/03/orioles-to-sign-conner-greene-to-minors-deal.html MiLB deal with ST invite...
  12. Profiled on Foolish Baseball. Good stuff!
  13. They once signed Brooks Kieschnick to a minor league deal, but he chose to retire a few months later. BK is one of my all-time favorite Texas Longhorn players. https://www.milb.com/player/brooks-kieschnick-117044
  14. He should retire tomorrow with his 0.00 ERA and 1.000 winning percentage.
  15. I read that he credited discovering Pilates during the off-season before joining the Cubs. Not sure if Pilates is still a part of his workout regimen these days…
  16. Or go completely bonkers when #500 comes as a pinch hitter…
  17. I watch a bunch of Giants games, based mostly on the quality of their announcers. All four of the main guys are first rate. The fact that they are playing well adds to it.
  18. My wife likes to play the Lotto. I told her that if those six numbers were to hit on the same night, it would be the biggest split pot in history, because I bet there are dozens of people in Baltimore who play them every week!
  19. Was I the only one who thought the cat on the field was a harbinger of doom? What a game for the. O’s!
  20. Or, it means that all lips are sealed in the warehouse. That would be impressive.
