It seems to me they have been worse this year than any I can remember. It is like they are trying to get robo umps.

You can do it for as long as you are winning 2 out of every 3 games. I agree there is a point but I think it is north of 100 at bats.

Cowser has had 47 at bats, Gunnar was hitting 150 with about the same at bats this year. Adley about 140 at the same time. We are winning anyway so he isn’t hurting the team.

Gibson, Bradish, Rodriquez, and Kremer isn’t looking too bad for the playoffs.

NY should be trading some of their bullpen arms for prospects. They won’t but they aren’t winning anything this year.

There is no bigger fan of Mike Mussina than me but he didn’t have a better career then Jim Palmer. Palmer won 3 Cy Young awards and it should have been 4, but Yankee Goose Gosage stole one. If he won his last game in 1982 he would have won another. He is the winningest pitcher of the 1970’s. Mussina was a great well deserving Hall Of Fame pitcher but not better than Palmer.

I don’t think Gerritt Cole will be pitching in the playoffs.

All this discussion is funny since I sat with Mike Mussina’s brother (Mark) and his son (Mike’s Nephew)at the game Saturday night. Mark’s son was wearing a Number 35 Orioles jersey with Musinna on the back of it rooting his tail off for the Baltimore Orioles.

I don’t think Elias is nervous about Cowser’s ability. He isn’t one to sour on a rookie in a limited number of at bats. Would they trade him if they got the right return? We will see.
