Mountcastle had a +1.3 WAR this year. And that is with 122 starts at first. Seems like the other 1B men would have to be really bad to make that in the negatives overall.

I'm fine if they decide to spend some FA money on pitching.............AND bats. We are 9th in the AL in runs scored as well as 9th in team ERA. Plenty of room for improvement in both areas.

Force does indeed equal mass * acceleration. Now assume you have two batted balls with equal exit velocities. Is it your contention that one might spend a longer time in contact with the wood than the other which would lead to a significant difference in acceleration? I guess the initial velocity from the pitch coming in is another variable actually.

Pretty sure I did this math right, but someone feel free to check me. Aaron Judge this year in OPACY hit .438/.500/1.000 against us. That 1.5000 OPS is actually higher than his overall number against the O's this year. Guess there is still one more series in NY coming up where he could catch up. Man, can you imagine if he was Left-handed?!?!?!?!? Wonder if he would be a "good fit" for the O's and Camden Yards if he somehow became available.

All of them are non-contenders except for CLE and TB. No idea what is going on in Cleveland but the issues in Florida are pretty well documented. It's an embarrassment to the sport and to fans everywhere that the Rays never are able to draw despite being perennial contenders. They are ranked 28/30.

OPS over 1.000 right now at AAA. Seems pretty good. Kinda liking our outlook for the infield in 2023 and beyond.

I don't think it's nonsense for at least 2 reasons: 1. There is nothing that prevents the Orioles from adding other positions of need (cough cough SP cough cough) in ADDITION to SS. 2. There were heavy rumors linking us to Correa this past off-season. Correa is expected to be available right? He is on pace for a 4.0 WAR season or so and has an opt out. There is still a strong Elias connection there.

This is huge. Now we can get Gunnar in the lineup while at the same time ensure that Odor doesn't lose a roster spot! That 0.1 WAR total is hard to ummmmm.....replace. I mean. Wait a second.
