  1. Bradish proved to be a solid ace level pitcher. Grayson should take a big step forward. Kremer was solid. Means, if healthy, can be solid. Acquiring another solid starting pitcher will be key, but as we learned from the Yankees last year, sometimes the high profile, extreme cost option isn’t as effective if they can’t stay healthy. On paper Blake Snell looks to be the clear number one option, but that’s on paper. People need to realize just how good these young birds are and also realize winning 100+ games wasn’t a fluke. We stay healthy, we continue our playoff window, but injuries do happen. One saving grace with the O’s is our immense depth. We aren’t going to give up the farm to get the pitching needed. Gibson proved to be an amazing pickup as was Lyles the year before. For all the talk of Rodon, guys like Gibson were infinitely better and cheaper picks.
  2. Playing Mayo at first negates his arm strength. Mayo can lock down third. He’s basically Austin Riley.
  3. Too much on Kremer’s mind to start today. He even said it to Hyde but Hyde starts him anyway. Between that, the missed sign in game 1 and Baker even being on the roster at all, Hyde fucked this series up. Still though, Rangers were a buzz saw and Hyde wasn’t savvy enough the manage around it. still though, Baker? Fucking what?
  4. YouTube tv then cancel after the free month trial.
  5. I'll be there all three games to root em on. It's one of the more selfish reasons I'm a fan of the Astros moving to the American League. I get to see the Orioles every year in my backyard!
  6. No, that guy is quite annoying to me especially on twitter. Horrible takes after horrible takes. He started the season calling out Elias...he's just a bad Oriole fan sadly.
  7. Man, I really feel bad for someone that sad. And what if we make the playoffs? You’ll just be elated or no, you’ll just say it was luck. You’re a cuck.
  8. No one likes a guy who shits in other’s Cheerios. Most of all they hate a fan who has no faith and then tells you told you so. Kindly find another team.
  9. Incorrect. Also glad to see he gets number 13. Low numbers usually stick around for more than a cup of coffee.
  10. Such good news! I was feeling really down after that interview yesterday with Mounty. Glad he's not going through the 2012 Markakis plot of the movie.
  11. Maybe it’s because Heston has better power numbers? Not sure if he actually does but maybe that’s the reasoning? Maybe it’s the 45 day thing with Cowser? Also, what number do you think he’ll wear? Stick with 75?
  12. lol good point. Then does Heston play first as well?
  13. Yeah I think this is just because Kjerstad is a leftie. It's all about matchups, has been this whole season.
  14. Dude sucks. You can tell Hyde is not a fan either. Here’s hoping Means is nails and we can send Flaherty packing.
  15. I’m glad Cowser is back. I think we see him hit similar to Westy here on out.
  16. We almost took two out of three in Atlanta. Yes, it can be done.
  17. There's just something off about the guy. I can't put my finger on it but just not impressed with his presence on the mound.
  18. Orioles are in a good spot to cover this obviously terrible loss. Thank God we have guys like Hall, Means, and Wells waiting in the wings to pick this team up. It's a terrible loss, no doubt, but if there's anything this team is, it's resilient.
  19. I agree DC has been nails, but I think Hyde's approach will be the matchup game. The beauty of Bautista is that his stuff matched up well against anyone. So I think it'll be more of a closer by matchup concept as opposed to a set pitcher in that position.
  20. I can’t believe 28 teams passed on him too.
  21. I think the new era of baseball, at least the game the Orioles will play and have played, is a game of interchangeable parts. Gone are the days of set positions. Arrived are the days of every infielder can play and will play at least two different positions. Matchups are the key both start of game and against relief pitching in game. Those who can adapt to field the strongest likelihood for success at any given moment of the game will be the team that raises their chance to win. Flexibility is everything. Look at Westy at second and third, Gunnar at short and third, Urias at well every position, Frazier at second and outfield, ohearn and first and outfield. Even Mateo at short and outfield. Flexibility is the key, competition is the key and talent is the key. For that I could see Jackson playing second and short. Heston playing first and right, and on and on it goes. Colby playing third and first. The point is, there are no “set” positions anymore and I think it’s the best way to play it considering our gobs of talent.
  22. My father has already bought all the different Orioles polos because he saw them wear them. Believe me, it does matter even a small percentage across all items adds up quick.
