Leyritz was the guy that was convicted of drunk driving (while driving with a suspended license), but acquitted of manslaughter charges when a woman in the other car that he hit when he was drunk died.

P.S. For the record, the woman in the other car that died was even more drunk than was Leyritz at the time of the accident, so she was hardly an innocent victim ........... nonetheless, the fact remains that Leyritz killed someone while he was driving drunk, and the AA-Newark Bears honored him on a night of alcohol promotion (Beer Pong Night).
