If true, it is a major positive step for the O's if MacPhail really is able to convince PA to trade BRob

MacPhail has a tough job...Seriously....talking a billionaire into trading a fan favorite who invests in the childern of the community. geeez

Thanks Peace. This is great news for 1 reason; it re-iterates all of our hope that PA is allowing baseball people to make baseball decisions. I'm sure it's pretty hard for him, so let's give him credit. One of the hardest things in business is for a successful business owner to give up control over significant decisions.

I think its time to cut ties with Roberts. We need to get the steroid culture out of Baltimore. And Roberts is apart of that culture.

I mean imagine if Brooks Robinson, a beloved figure in this town, admitted to doing steroids. (Not comparing Brooks and Roberts baseball wise). Just they both are loved in this town.

You know, Steinbrenner pretty much ruined the Yankees in the 80's, then allowed his GM to run things from the early 90's forward (for the most part).

Any chance Angelos could learn the same lesson with MacPhail at the helm?

Everyday is like a new episode were everything builds up and you hope for resolution to the varies story lines and at sometime around 11..PM you realize you will have to tune back in tomorrow to find out who shot JR. I just hope we do not have a season cliffhanger caused by the holidays.

Who needs TV when you have OH?......:D

I don't think you'll see that happen. My guess is that Guthrie will be the new community guy. Markakis isn't much of a public figure.

Step one looks like it's about to take place. Now let's just hope that this trade works out for us in the long run or PA will not trust anyone to do this sort of thing again.
