I just looked up him up as well. 28-years old with limited innings below AA while having some good stats the last few years. Probably has very fringy stuff but I'm sure he's appreciative of being brought over and getting into a major league spring training game. Very weird career where he made it to Double-A quickly and as never gotten even a cup of coffee.

Seems to have gotten better the last few years in AA-AAA. Good Homerun rate, K/BB rate improving. Hits per 9 innings improved.

Yeah. His signing bonus out of Arizona State was $147,500, so I guess he was fairly highly thought of by the Nationals.
