Toronto looking for New President to be Duquette.

Duquette said he had no comment on reports that the Blue Jays are trying to hire him as president/CEO despite the four years remaining on his contract with the Orioles. He's not touching that subject.

Yet some think KR is the bad guy here.

He kinda reminds me of Robert Irsay, back when Irsay bought the Los Angeles Rams and traded them to Carroll Rosenloom for the Baltimore Colts because he was a Johnny Unitas fan. Then, he traded Unitas. Who knows what we could get from this asshat if he wants DD all that bad? The skies the limit!

That's not Ed Rogers. That's the former "crackhead" mayor of Toronto. He's in rehab now, I think.

Folks it's time to start blaming Dan this is all on him.

Holy crap no its not. This is now looking like less Oceans 11 and more Home Alone style theft.

Toronto is a completely ass backwards organization and DD is in no way to blame for them trying to poach him.

He is already stated he intends to live up to his contract. He could also be under orders not to comment on it.

When Angelos gives the OK then he will talk. It's on Angelos from here on out...and you've heard his stance.

Angelos has already said he would listen to offers.

"I expect a couple to go to trial," Duquette said. "We have a number of cases."

Duquette doesn't seem fazed by the gaps in filings with Pearce and Norris.

"Pearce is a unique case because he had such a great year in about 300 plate appearances," Duquette said. "He had a sterling last couple of months there. He's going to get a good raise. And so will Norris.

"They're both five-plus players. They're the players with the most experience in the process. They're due sizable raises and they both had good years."

Yep. He has definitely checked out.

And PA has already given Toronto the OK to interview DD? He'll listen to offers to give TOR the chance to interview him. If he isn't impressed by what they present then he's more than happy with the man he gave a 4 year extension to. Otherwise DD has no say in what happens.
