Some of these guys were drafted, others were international free agents, and one, Chris Tillman was acquired by trade but spent the vast majority of his minor league time with the O's.

All of them are contributing at the big league level now. Whether it's a good list or a bad list, I don't really know, but I do think we've done better recently getting players ready to play in the big leagues than we used to.

Everyone in that list except for Reimold, Matusz, Gausman, Givens and Alvarez has had at least some extended period with the O's when they were great -- although Britton, Joseph, Machado and Schoop are the most obvious successes there.

Out of the rest, Tillman was a big reason why we went to the playoffs last year. Matusz has had flashes of greatness out of the pen. Wieters used to look like a monster with the bat. Givens and Alvarez have looked good in SSS. Gausman's best years in the ML are probably still to come.

It's hard to complain about this bunch. That's why they're still on our roster...
