As Roch said in this morning's blog, Dylan Bundy needs to come off the 60-day disabled list on Monday for his start in the Arizona Fall League. Someone will have to come off the 40-man roster.

Who should it be? Here's the current roster.

Pitchers

Tim Berry

Brad Brach

Zach Britton

Wei-Yin Chen

Oliver Drake

Jason Garcia

Kevin Gausman

Mychal Givens

Miguel Gonzalez

Ubaldo Jimenez

Steve Johnson

Brian Matusz

T.J. McFarland

Darren O'Day

Chaz Roe

Chris Tillman

Tyler Wilson

Vance Worley

Mike Wright

Catchers

Steve Clevenger

Caleb Joseph

Matt Wieters

Infielders

Chris Davis

Ryan Flaherty

J.J. Hardy

Paul Janish

Manny Machado

Rey Navarro

Jimmy Paredes

Steve Pearce

Jonathan Schoop

Christian Walker

Andy Wilkins

Outfielders

Dariel Alvarez

Adam Jones

Junior Lake

David Lough

Gerardo Parra

Nolan Reimold

Henry Urrutia

Plenty of room will be created after the World Series when Davis, O'Day, Wieters, Chen, Pearce, and Parra become free agents. Who should go now?

Darren O'Day? Gerardo Parra? Steve Pearce?

Cutting one of the pending free agents loose a week early is an interesting thought. What could it hurt?

Maybe you can negotiate with them if they are on your roster, but can't if they are not. Not that it matters here, the Orioles will wait until until christmas eve to go shopping and hope that there are some bargains left among the damaged merchandise.

Surprised they havent cleared some of the roster yet. Knew Rondon was gone in first cuts. Expect Janish, Navarro, Lough, Reimold, Berry, and or SJohnson to be dropped.

They will have plenty of room after the pending free agents become free agents. I expect they will retain some of the players you mentioned.

Doh. Just saw that my question got answered. So, cut whichever of the free agents were have not been talking to. Maybe Wieters.

Matusz if we have decided to nontender.

If you cut a player you can't give him a QO. We can't give Parra a QO. We could release him.
