The orange-and-black teams flip-flopped with each other in this week's rankings (#8 and #9.)

In fact, ALL OF THE TEAMS FROM #2 THROUGH # 11 flip-flopped places with each other this week !!! ) :eektf:

The Orioles moved up 1 spot from where they were in the previous week (from #9 to #8.)

They are up 15 slots from the original Preseason rankings (from #23 to #8.)

Oh, no! The Tigers are ahead of us in the power rankings! I guess we shouldn't bother to play the games this week!

Nah. We should claim national media bias and ignore this is we lose but if we win use it to justify our previously held unscientific belief that news outlets "hate" us.

9th overall seems about right for the Orioles.

They've steadily managed to keep themselves in the Top-10 all season long, and that's a good thing.

As inconsistent as they may often seem, they have stayed at least double digit games above the .500 mark since June 6th ........ and I believe that staying at least 10 games or more above the .500 mark for more than half of the season in the toughest division in baseball is nothing to sneeze at.
