This offense was never well-constructed to begin with, but all run producers have gone cold at the same time for the past month: Davis, Trumbo, Machado, Jones, Schoop are all stone cold.

We have no RHH. If Buck isn't going to start Kim vs a LHP he sure as hell isnt going to pinch hit him.

Plus Gibbons knows that Jones can't hit LHP.

That's kind of my point. Buck didn't have any options but that is in part because he started Mancini and Reimold. So Hart can choose between a LHP vs Reimold or a RHP vs Kim. Buck could have started Kim or Bourne and saved a RH on the bench.

It is beyond approach or mindset at this point. They just cannot hit the ball to save their playoff lives. You could float a BP fastball down the middle and Davis would take it for a called strike three. Manny would hit the same pitch for a popup. Jones would scorch it foul.

Exactly. I really hate the way this team is put together. There is zero chance they score this 2 out run. Zero. It did not go out of the park, so no run will score.
