We're not the only team with a bunch of good hitters (OK, in our case good power hitters) that has an offensive drought. It happened to the Red Sox earlier this year. It's happening to the Blue Jays now (tied with the Twins for last in the AL in runs scored in September, just 6 earned runs against not-very-dominating pitching in the last two games).

There is a talent gap. We have come very close to overcoming it over 158 games.
