Also, for them to spread out the stepping up so that we don't win one game by a bazillion runs, and then lose the rest.

They really need to relax at the plate. They've really been pressing. It would be nice if we could score first for once. It feels like we are down after the first or second inning almost every day.

They haven't given us any reason to count on them, though. Last night was particularly god-awful. And even though Manny and Davis have small samples, none of them has done well in the playoffs. And these feel like playoff games.

Hoping for them to step up. That's what I doing.

The thing about Eddie was, he let the game come to him. Pitchers feared him and he knew that and took advantage of it. Our hitters don't do that much.
