Not going to have much of a BABIP when all you do is hit popups. -

We do need a RH OF bat to compliment our LH OF bats. Either Pham or Hicks. I still don’t know why people are against Hicks. He’s a SH. Can play all three OF spots. Takes pitches. Had an .860 OPS with us last season and hit a 3 run HR in the playoffs. With the current makeup of the roster when would Stowers or Kjerstad play? Hicks would play versus LHP. There’s a clear path for ABs for him. -
We could go after the White Sox lower WHIP guys in Leasure and Shuster. They are 1.09 & .94 respectively. Of course they lack the Ks most guys drool over 13 in 18ip & 9 in 16ip respectively. I’d imagine these guys wouldnt cost as much. -
I’m not sure you’ll find much better than McCann for a backup catcher. Its not exactly a productive position.

I don’t think they are. They traded Hernaiz for Irvin & Ortiz/Hall for Burnes. -
