Nope. His bat speed is slow. He is slow to pick up pitches. And, he has a loopy swing.

Agree. If you can simplify the mechanics so he can actually get to a ball easier, you can create more confidence. Instead he spent his offseason having Coolbaugh convince him to just be more aggressive. Great.

Glad Buck stepped in and got him locked up:) I am afraid to ask (and I think I remember) how many years and dollars does he have left? gulp...

Did Buck step in to help sign him? I'm not questioning you, I just am never sure who to BLAME when it comes to this franchise, bc I never know who is doing what...

That’s a result of the owner not allowing the person he hired to make all baseball decisions.

It's time to release him.

There's no way he's released with 5/$85 left on the contract. That's not even counting the deferred money.

He looks lost. Hopefully he can figure it out, because he isn't going anywhere.

I think he's done. His collapse closely resembles Richie Sexson's downfall; both at similar ages.

Five years at $27 mil is a lot to swallow. If we eat half of that $135 mil, we might be able to take on some other bad contract. But that doesn't see like the Oriole Way.

It’s not. We’ll all be very lucky if they eat the rest of Tillman’s contract if he continues to stink.

Good comparison. I'm worried he's done too and that he's the O's Albert Pujols - meaning they just have to keep putting him out there because of his nasty contract.

I hear what you're saying but I wish Davis could be as productive as Pujols was during his time with the Angels. He's managed to produce 5 seasons of 95 rbi or more. That doesn't mean Pujols won't be a disaster moving forward but at least they got some good years. Davis doesn't even look like a MLB player right now. This won't end well for the O's. They may need to eat a ton of money like the Angels did with Josh Hamliton or the Sawx with Sandoval.
