As the inning started I was musing that one obvious temptation would be to squeeze one more inning out of the opener.

The #1 hitter in the opposing lineup came into the game hitting .411 vs Gausman this year.   Kiermaier is 2 for 2 so that has gone up.

That was a lollipop from Gausman.  I really hope we trade him at some point.  I just don't think he has the mental part of pitching down.  It may bite us like Arrieta, but I think some team could give a lot for him.  Just my opinion.

Yeah but has anyone noticed how horrible Kiermaier has been hitting this year???  I didn't until recently.

I guess not 80.   He does have 163 ABs.   Wow, .568 OPS.   Yeah, that is bad.   It would only be ahead of Santander, Wynn, Rasmus, Davis, Susac, Corban Joseph, Sardinas, Vielma, Nunez, and the pitchers on our team.
