3 Million for Tillman was stupid. 800k for Straily is smart. Even if it doesn’t work.

If he was even a reasonable risk to have anything significant to offer, plenty of other GMs would have paid him that or more.   He wasn’t and isn’t, imho.  But somebody has to get out there 162 times, so what the heck?
