Oh well. Should have weighed 2019 into it. Tigers legitimately in front of Orioles.

If I remember correctly, the Red Sox are to forfeit their first round pick in 2021 (as well as their 2020 first rounder) which leaves the O's drafting at #4 overall in the first round.

Hard to disagree. The Rangers and Tigers were awful. But very annoying to see Boston picking 4.

Looking forward to this pick.  Assuming Rocker/Leiter go 1/2, there should be plenty of great talent to choose from including the Florida OFer and multiple shortstops and the top HSers.

If they still want to hold fast to the illusion that the draft is about competitive balance Boston, New York, and the Dodgers should be permanently in the 25-30 range.

But it was never really about competitive balance.
