They nailed it. That Baltimore script is GORGEOUS. That exceeds my expectations I MUST have that. The road grays have gone from my least favorite to most favorite. The font, size, and layout is absolutely perfect.

UPDATE - The two tone cap looks great with road grays now too. Before it was the all black but with the thicker orange stripe and Baltimore script that looks great as well. Remember, they're are also sleeve patches which can't be seen. In person this is going to be a really good looking uniform. Potentially the best road jersey in baseball.

They blew it.

This is what I was afraid they were going to do to the home uniforms (again). Everything does not need to start huge and get smaller!

If they had simply updated the original script "Baltimore" it would have looked much, much better.

And, Like the Nationals, they've split a letter when it wasn't necessary.

D- at best.

It matches the Orioles script that they are using now and have used since 1995, what's the problem?

They'd have to change both scripts to do what you suggest, and they want a more modern Orioles script that has a nod to the past.

I think they look fantastic! :clap3:

This is the original road script. All they had to do was round it off and modernize it a bit...not start off huge and run to a point, like they've done.

This is the Bashers script I designed over a decade ago. My "B" looks better than either of the ones on the Orioles road jerseys.

Prediction/sincere hope: they'll do what they did with the 1998 home jerseys, and tone down the front part of the Baltimore script in the near future.

It kind of matches the early 1998 home script, which returned to the BP jerseys last season. It doesn't particularly match the current home jersey script all that well.

It's the fact that the script starts out HUGE, then runs to tiny that bugs me...that and the overdone "B".

BTW, you do realize that the "Orioles" jersey script changed several times between 1995 and 2004, don't you?

Sounds like you just don't like that they didn't do it more like you would do it. ;)

I for one like it, if only because it's a step in the right direction. Gotta crawl before you can walk, really.
