I swear his name came to my mind before I opened up the post.   Tough decision but probably the right one.   This kid has some talent but at this age and what he did at Bowie, it probably wasn't going to happen.    Best of luck, Doran!

Yeah, I can’t really argue with his decision.   He’s probably a little quicker than most to pull the trigger, but he’s not wrong in thinking he was a long shot to reach the majors.

He had some talent but ultimately, he made the right decision. I certainly wish the young man well.

I hate to see stuff like this, especially meeting guys, but when I saw him in Aberdeen after getting sent down, you could tell talking to him it was over. Best of luck to him!  Whatever he does now he will make more than he ever did playing organized baseball!
