Rockies Series, 8/30-9/1

We need a game where we break out for 10+ runs. We've only had 4 such games since the 17-6 outburst against NY and 2 of those 4 have been losses.

Yesterday felt like a game where we could have scored 7+ runs.  Several warning track fly outs.  The Jimenez baserunning blunder.  The great defensive diving catch and then throw to nab Holliday at 3B.  Several missed RISP opportunities.   Hopefully things will go our way.  As mentioned above, Colorado’s starter tonight has a really poor ERA at Coors.  Hopefully he doesn’t lower it tonight.

Ty Blach, I'm not sure how that guy is still in the league.  Must someone importants nephew.

I’m well-satisfied with taking 2 of 3 from the Rockies.  It would have been nice to sweep them, but the fact is, they’re almost a .500 team when playing at Coors, so the probability of a sweep was pretty low.  We gained a game on the Yankees on the trip, so that’s progress.
