No,because when I go to the games I see the same crap happening all the time. I see players run halfway up to first and stop. I see players watch their fly balls and not run. Palmer and Blair see lazy and unispired play and have said as much on TV and in print.

Just one example... Scott trotted on his flyball and only got a triple out of it.

Miggy on Tuesday. I was at the game and he stopped running up the first base line. I know his hip is bothering him but he did not run it out. The fans in my section (all 20 of them saw it).

I agree and that bothers me ,too. The great Red Sox have guys loafing down the line. I have to give the Yankees credit,Jeter runs everything out and the others follow suit. AROID is his own case.
