    • Just wanted to say another great job on the farm reviews here. Love having the videos from X put on here!  Great job @cboemmeljr!!
    • 100 agree on the need for a RH OF as a 4th OF because of our already LH COFs.  Also, I don't want so see the "Tim Duncan" effect happen to Beavers.  Duncan was criticized and nitpicked by scouts for hanging around Wake Forest too long.  That's sort of the same thing that's happened with Kjerstad, and even some to Cowser beforehand.  Once a player gets to AAA it seems like that can happen, and oddly enough they lose value to "buying" clubs because they don't have that all star caliber potential that a younger play could have.   Overall though, there could be a spot for Beavers considering Santa, Hays, Mullins, and even O'Hearn, are scheduled to hit FA over the next two offseasons.  So maybe there is a spot for a Yelich-lite(w/o PEDs) type of player.
    • The phrase "it is what it is" was invented for stuff like this.
    • Nice night for Sosa.  As pointed out by @Warehouse "Sosa now has a 106 wRC+, which ranks 12th out of the 28 teenaged Carolina Leaguers with at least 80 PAs. His .128 ISO ranks 10th and his 12.7% swinging strike percentage ranks 12th." In his last 4 series (one game so far this series) Sosa has picked it up slashing .257/.350/.400/.750 over 80 PAs. Not eye popping but starting to make the adjustments.
    • Personally, I'm for full robo umps, I know some people like the "human element" they bring to the game and was trying to appeal to the "purists". I'm not convinced that it's a great thing that kids in the MiL are learning the true strike zone as defined by the robots, then they come up here and a ball in the MiL is now a strike every 2nd day in the ML.
