    Didn’t they go into the offseason with Acuna, Inciarte, Nick, and Duvall? This move puts two of those last three on the bench. Riley can also play LF. Third base is still uncertain.

    No, I don’t think he’d hire Hinch if he gets another GM job. There’s nothing special about him. It’s a non zero chance that the could reunite, but I wouldn’t put it much higher than that.

    I once almost got into it with a co-worker. I was very upset and ready to throw punches. Typical bully, this person was. A few weeks later, our company threw her a retirement party. A part of me was sad that she had to work until 80. Cute great-grandchildren though.
