If it was me, I wouldn't bother. With one exception everyone is fine with bringing him back. We just think he had a rough year on D last season. Hopefully Adley will be up at some point and make it a moot point.

That was only about passed balls. You posited that the pitchers might have been a factor in Severino's passed balls so Frobby responded by showing that the other Oriole catchers didn't have the same issue.

When it comes to catchers I weigh recent performance more heavily than I do other players. Severino looked surprisingly bad behind the plate last year. I'm tempted to use the word lazy to describe his play.

I wouldn't use fielding percentage as evidence for or against a catcher's defensive ability.

I don't know that 10M in liabilities is going to make much difference when you are talking about a billion dollar price tag.
