  1. I think the better argument is who you got, Witt or Henderson?
  2. I've always been a proponent of keeping a poorly producing pitcher because he gets poor results with his left hand instead of his right.
  3. The run hard to first base thing...doesn't bother me much. If you hit a routine ground ball to short I'm not ripping you a new one for not going 100% to first if it isn't a high leverage situation. Now if it's the eight inning and the team is down a run...yea you need to go hard.
  4. You'd have to get the other top picks to accept whatever the lower offer was. So you could sign say a bunch of college seniors for 20K a pop. If a player from the draft pool rounds doesn't sign, that money is removed from the pool. There is also nothing stopping a team from picking him and trying to get him to change his mind. If he doesn't sign they get a pick in next year's draft. Not ideal but it does make it less risky.
  5. Yes if the prospect turns into a better version of a Hall of Fame player you will be happy. Checks out.
  6. Or as a GM sometime over the last few years he could have acquired someone that could have better filled the rule. Who is in on that Cameron Is the next guy in line?
  7. Can someone start a reactionary thread about firing ...let me see...wait a second... All these guys and no outfield coach. https://www.mlb.com/orioles/roster/coaches Obviously this is on Elias.
  8. Just think how good Ohtani would be doing if he hadn't played in it.
