Sure, they are slowly dying off. But by the time it gets to a crisis point the streaming situation will probably be as bad. Look at the explosion of streaming services in the last few years. I'm waiting for a streaming provider and content producer to get together and limit access to their product. Disney plus, exclusively on Roku, for example.

Do you think that 1- Adley will get called up at some point this season? 2- Adley will still have his rookie eligibility in 2022?

I think Elias is very concerned with how his team does in the prospect lists. I think it is telling how Hays and Mountcastle both fell just short of losing rookie eligibility. He has nothing to gain by promoting Adley earlier rather than later.

He may, but he has an odd way of showing it if he does. He's going to keep Adley down long enough that he stays on the precious prospect lists for next season. None of the others are projected to be major pieces in the future.

And they might have a new outfielder before the season starts. I don't think what they are doing, in response to injury, is any worse than what the O's did. At least they have injury as an excuse and not poor roster construction and hurr hurr dongs.

Goal certainly isn't to win games now is it? Why set the goal of finishing with the fifth worst record? You just have to put in enough effort to keep the union and national media off your back.
