Predict the Top Four Selections of the 2011 MLB Draft

Recommended Posts

With four days to go, it seems an appropriate time-frame to post a Predictions thread. This year sure seems more unsettled than most.

You can edit your choices as late as Sunday evening at Midnight. Seems fair. :)

Okay... ante up folks!

Here's my first shot at it...

1. Pittsburgh = Gerrit Cole

2. Seattle = Anthony Rendon

3. Arizona = Danny Hultzen

4. Baltimore = Dylan Bundy

I have read multiple times that Bubba Starling could be the best player in the draft. Why is he not really talked about as a top 3 option in the draft?

He is being strongly considered by all three of PIT/SEA/ARI.

I think this will be the top 4.

PIT - Cole

SEA - Rendon

ARI - Bauer

BAL - Hultzen

I hope this is the top 4. I get free beer from Stoner if it is.

The compensation system is broke for any tean to get 9 of the first 60 players.

I agree with Greg,

Cole

Rendon

Hultzen

Bundy

If Stotle is right and AZ takes Bauer I could see us switching to Hultzen. I think Buck wants someone who can get here in a hurry and Hutlzen is as close to that as anyone in the draft this year.

I agree with this order....I really would like for the Os to take Bundy....in part because of the brothers angle....but Dylan seems to be a special kid in terms of makeup/character, work ethic and a fastball that at times has touched 100
