Who are we rooting for tonight?

I'll be updating this thread as each new series begins from now until the end of the season (or until the Orioles are eliminated). At this point, we're not just fans of the Baltimore Orioles but fans of a handful of other teams as they battle our competitors.

CLEVELAND INDIANS vs A's

-The Indians just finished taking 2 of 3 from the Yanks so they're playing good ball. This is a 4 games series and the A's are back to full rotation strength despite losing Colon. Hopefully they can split the series. Go Tribe!

TORONTO BLUE JAYS @ Yankees

This isn't going to be easy. Bautista is back on the DL and their offense is back to looking pathetic. This easy matchup is exactly what the Yanks want in the midst of their mini slump. Hopefully the Jays can shock us all and take 2 of 3.

TEXAS RANGERS vs Rays

The Rangers are hot and hopefully the remain so against the best pitching staff in the league. I would love to feel confident that the Rangers are the superior team but you can never feel confident against the Rays. Here's hoping Hamilton and Cruz get super hot this week.

Detroit has an off day.

Actually the Tribe lost 2 of 3 to the Yanks.. All the games were close though.

I feel like I'm rooting for the Indians every day.

You are. At this point we have to root for all the bad teams in the AL, because all the good teams in the AL are the Orioles' competition. (Except the Rangers, who seem to have the AL West locked up and aren't competing with the O's for a playoff spot.)

It's like that.

As much as I love that movie and the ending, I always hated the slide at the end. I mean, the way he slid looks like he's trying to slide away from the plate and just nick it with his toe.
