How useless are the Blue Jays?

I understand the frustation, but honestly the Blue Jays roster is so depleted that you have to give them a ton of credit for playing as well as they did. They played the O's tough and they played the Yankees tough. It would have been great if they held on, but they've played hard to the finish.

Yes, they went 4-4 against us and MFY. Understand the frustration too because man oh man it would have been nice to both clinch this afternoon and see the O's in sole possession of first going into the final series of the year.

I'm more upset at Texas. Defending two-time AL champions, supposed to be the class of the AL, and they've been sliding for the last two weeks. You needed one more out, and couldn't get the job done. If they lose tonight, they're in trouble, both in terms of the AL West, and home field.

Rangers are down 4-0 already in the first inning. They're choking BIG TIME.

Up 5-1 on MFY at home, and can't close the deal.

You and your overrated GM can suck it, TOR.

I'll never understand relying on another team to take care of your own team's business. Were you irate when the Orioles only split with the Jays for the last 4 contests? If the O's had swept that series where would they be today?

The Blue Jays were in last place, and they just beat the Yankees 2 games out of 4. I don't call that useless, yesterday's collapse notwithstanding,

As far as the Rangers are concerned, they can stay as useless as they want. We're 1 game behind them for the best record in the American League.

We need to win our games 1 game at a time, just like we've been doing. We've had just as many chances as the Yankees have to be opportunistic in regard to our position in the standings ...... no more, no less
