Opening day Anibal will be 29 and his FIP the last two years have been 3.35 and 3.53 to go with an xFIP of 3.25 and 3.60.

Compare that with Edwin Jackson, also 29, who has posted FIPs of 3.55 and 3.85 along with xFIPs of 3.73 and 3.79.

Then you have Saunders(31) with FIPs of 4.78 and 4.38 to with xFIPs of 4.08 and 4.25.

Saunders isn't even in the same league and Anibal has been a quarter of a run better than Edwin Jackson over the same time.

Anibal is also coming off 3 years of 4.4, 3.8 and 3.8 WAR.
