Well, I'll say this. The last two days were extremely depressing for two reason. Extremely high expectations for this team, and the fact that we were playing against what SHOULD have been and really WAS, an inferior opponent.

The good thing today is, with that dose of reality, my expectations are tempered, and I can go back to expecting the worst and hoping for the best- while not being as angry if things go south.

Rules question: Manny just popped out in foul territory, about five feet from fair territory. Since it was in foul territory, Manny watched from near the batter's box. If the ball had hit the fielder's glove and was deflected into fair terrority, would the ball be in play?
