well with the way this debacle has gone so far I wouldn't be surprised if no announcement is made until the physicals are all done and the O's FO feels satisfied in knowing what the rest of the world already knows - Jones and Sherrill are just fine. After all that is done - then I think we get an official announcement. My guess would be Monday or so, lol.

You guys don't think they'll wait until after the Super Bowl stuff dies down (say Tues. or Weds.) so they have the media spotlight to themselves do you?

8) World Series

9) 2008 Presidential Election

10) Armageddon

Where do you think the completion of the Bedard deal will fall?

I'm hoping between 1 & 2, but preparing for between 9 & 10

Haha I'll go with after 10. Armageddon will come before Angelos pulls of a blockbuster that leads to the O's rebuilding. :D

But seriously, if this goes through, I would imagine it would be Monday. If it's not announced Monday, the deal is most likely dead based on what everybody has been saying.

OK...I know I'm getting anxious, but if the physical is today, why wouldn't there be an announcement?

Hell, the Mets and Twins did their trade quickly, and announced it. Why is it taking us so long?

Is it 2:30 Pacific right now? I wouldn't rule out an announcement today just yet.

In all seriousness, who the hell cares if their glorious trade is overshadowed (rightfully so) by a possibly unprecedented football victory? Just get the GD thing done, already. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!
