Surprised it will even take them that long.

It looks like the rain might clear out for a little bit around noon. Hopefully they aren't stalling to see if they can get it in tonight.

If they can't play until Wednesday, that sets up a potential Ravens-O's game 7 doubleheader on Sunday. So that would be fairly epic, even if the O's wouldn't really have great options for a starting pitcher.

Bring in Joe Flacco. He's got a pretty good arm.

Won't happen. O's will win in 6. ;)

Alot of weather related stuff lately. Euro models-which is not what you think. Nam and other stuff. Dome all stadiums.:)

The forecast for the rest of the afternoon calls for occasional showers and a chance of thunderstorms, with the chance of rain near 100%. Later tonight, it will get breezy with winds of 15 to 25 mph and gusts around 35 mph. Chance of rain tonight is 90%.

If Game 3 has to be postponed, Games 3, 4 and 5 (if necessary) will be tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday with no travel day before Game 6 in Baltimore on Friday.

The Kansas City area is already having one of its wettest Octobers on record, with over seven inches of rain this month. A typical October will get less than two inches.'

Game four is scheduled to begin at 7:07 p.m. on Tuesday, while game five is set for a 3:07 p.m. first pitch on Wednesday. Should rain push everything back a day, what would happen with the start times?

Major League Baseball declined to speculate.

?We are closely monitoring the forecasts and we are in communication with the clubs,? Mike Teevan of the MLB Public Relations Department wrote in an email. ?It?s too soon to speculate on potentially altered game times should the weather force our hand.?

My guess is game 4 Wednesday night, game 5 Thursday afternoon due to travel for Friday's game 6.

Don't fret until they actually cancel it. Friday looked bleak as well and we got that in.

This one most definitely isn't happening. KC is on the fringe of the rotation of the storms but it isn't worth the risk of that bubble filling in, especially with the wind threat.

If they magically get it in tonight I will "eat crow" but this situation is drastically different from last Friday.
