This one most definitely isn't happening. KC is on the fringe of the rotation of the storms but it isn't worth the risk of that bubble filling in, especially with the wind threat.

If they magically get it in tonight I will "eat crow" but this situation is drastically different from last Friday.

When I saw the radar, it looked like some freakish land hurricane.

Difference being, each side wrapped up their respective series. They finished their jobs and they expected to go home and prepare for the next series.

If there's a rainout in the middle of a series, it may distill some of the adrenaline that had been pumping. If you want to finish the job, you don't want to sit around and wait. You want it done and over with.
