Well he isn't the opening day starter so that gives them at least one game with an extra player.

Which could explain the DL, carrying the extra SP to throw one game.

Had a bad bullpen session and scratched from minor league start.

Will miss his first schedule major league start.

So its pretty clear now, that he had an injury and this wasn't roster manipulation.
