With the waiver of Logan Verrett, this opens a spot on the O's 40 man roster (or is it 41?). Will we fill it with one of the non-roster players - Lavarnway, Reimold - or is that how we handle Chris Davis' return after his one-day suspension?

This then begs the question, how do we handle Davis' return? We'll still have to deal with that after opening day. Do we drop Clevenger to add Lavarnway?

True, but he will after opening day. If Lavarnway is added, and he'll have to be by opening day unless they decide to go with Clevenger as the backup catcher, then we have 40 + Davis. So, someone else will need to be dropped.

Buck said he was tempted to try and keep a player out of options and try to push them through waivers when all the other others have just set their rosters up.

you could carry 13 pitchers and send one down to make room for CD, and still keep Paredes.

Paredes could stay at least until Lough returns, if he does. One could be waived at that time. There are currently 39 spots on the 40 man. If Clevenger is the back up nothing has to be done to add Davis.
