The best price available on the Orioles to win the division has dropped to just 7-1.

To summarize (Orioles 7-1 record on 4/14 at 1:00 PM):

Bos: 2.25-1

Tor: 2.35-1

NY: 3.75-1

Bal: 7-1

On an aggregate basis, the best prices have just 0.84% aggregate vig. That's 60% of the house advantage on a pass line wager at craps.

Oddly, despite the sharp change to divisional odds since I first posted, the same set of books have not changed their max price on the Orioles to win the AL pennant or Series (still 30-1 and 50-1 respectively)

Odds are fun to watch and bet on throughout the season. My friends and I got a bet in in August for Chris Davis to win the HR title at 30:1. He was just starting to close the gap and warm up. A few days later he was 6:1 and then 3:1 and then the favorite. The 4 of us split about grand when all was said and done. I have the O's to go over 78 wins. I have $100 on a Pirates-Orioles World Series matchup at 300:1. Orioles have been undervalued in recent seasons and if you're the betting type, there's some nice odds out there.
